Go down to picture 52-55 for the pictures. The rifle is stamped with Steyr USA of West Point, Mississippi's markings.

I handled the FN FS-2000 bullpup this past weekend. It's a wide-bodied rifle. I had to crane my neck a lot more than with any other rifle to sight down the standard back-up iron sights. It's balanced very much like the AUG and probably can be easily fired one-handed; it has a neutral balance with the balance point about where the trigger is located. The ejection port dust cover seems to be flimsy with the plastic door seemingly easy to bend. Overall, the rifle has a soft feel to it as if the plastic would absorb the recoil by flexing a tiny bit, the way the GLOCK would. The buttplate is wide and soft as well. I don't think I would use the rifle as a club; I'm sure it could take a beating, but at $2400, it would be a terribly expensive club. The location of the safety is wonderful and feels very natural. The FN stamped M16 type magazine appeared to require a forceful pull down in order to get it out of the receiver. The rifle feels lighter than it is, about as light as the original M16. The action access cover is questionable. It makes for easy cleaning, but if the action should blow up, I think it's likely to take your ear off too; I'm sure the rifle has been throughly tested for reliability, durability, and safety by FN, so maybe my concern is unfounded. The rifle has a smooth feel to it with very little projections to get in the way of other equipment. The cooling holes on the right side of the rifle would seem to let in any sort of debris. I wonder it it'll allow enough dirt to hinder functioning. By comparison, the AUG is virtually closed to the ingress of dirt with only a small channel where the charging handle tracks. I'd buy the rifle and would love to see the ejection shuttle in work. I think this is probably a feature that's superior to any other bullpup design.
