It sounds like there may be some damage. However, you can boresight the rifle by removing the barreled receiver, mounting it on a solid support to aim the bore at a target and adjusting the reticle to meet the target. Only the bottom and right side turrets are adjustable. Has the rifle been abused by someone? If you want you can also make a nicer adjusting tool by modifying the tip of a flat screwdriver to match the little tool. Are you using good ammo and has the bore been cleaned of copper?
