i dont think the fact microtech was originally just a knife company says anything about the rifle. it just shows how the company funded the new project, we need more inovative companies willing to take something to the next level instead of making their own line of AR's or other generic items. Look at the Magpul Masada, i mean this is a inovative rifle from a company who originally made accessories.
